krystal.raven@hotmail.com BioI'm a 25 year old girl that loves to write. Writing is my life. I'm currently working on several different projects (I always have multiple going). They usually center around vampires and werewolves. My latest idea though is about a kingdown of faeries. My deviantart website is listed above if you'd like to read some of my work.
I call myself a Witch. I am not an initiated member of Wicca and I don't want to be however I identify well with the word Witch since I write and cast spells, perform other types of magick, and things like that. I like that Witch doesn't necessarily label a person as part of a particular religion. I have practiced spirituality and Paganism since I was 15. Like several people I didn't take it too seriously at first but as I grew up and learned more and more about it I started taking it more seriously. Currently I am studying tarot, herbs, crystals, and faeries. I do not belong to one trad nor do I want to. I have my own little trad that I work in.
I've had several people ask how I got my name (KrystalRaven). It just came to me. And it fits. I love crystals, always have since I was little (they are what led me to this path) and Ravens are just awesome. I go by both shortened versions of the name (Krystal and Raven). I do not have a preference for which one is used. Another way this name fits me is its' opposites: crystals (quartz crystals anyway) are clear...ravens are black. You can see through one but not through the other. I love opposites.
I am a huge supporter of gay rights. I believe Proposition 8 should be overturned, hell it should never have been passed to begin with. I am outspoken in my beliefs that love is love no matter what genders are involved in the equation. human in love+human in love=love, commitment (and if they want) marriage. Simple as that!
I have three cats: Melodi, Bubby, and Isabelle. They are like my kids. I swear sometimes I have three kids not cats. It seems I'm always reprimanding one of them: "Isabelle get off the sink" "Melodi leave Bubby alone" "play nice" "No you're not going outside" I love them to death though.
I attempt drawing and photography. I don't post my drawings anywhere sometimes (when my camphone wants to work) some of my photographs will end up on my DA page. The big gray cat on my user page? That's Bubby.
I have Native American blood in my veins. Though by looking at me you can't tell it: i have blue eyes and naturally blond hair though I dyed it black. I enjoy researching the Hopi Indians. Information about them is bound to randomly pop up in my LJ.
I've been with the same wonderful guy for almost two years (it'll be two in January of '09). And see no reason to change my plans in staying with him for a very long time ^_^ read his LJ: ryuukojin
